Placemakers

The following pieces are what I deem to be most associated with my “furniture as place” philosophy. This belief is that each object is a world unto itself, though some objects more obviously transport us to other realms. These Placemakers are what we call art. These are, in my opinion, incredibly unique concrete objects that to me are expanding the aesthetic potential of concrete. With each piece I wrote a vignette to emphasize the placeness.
